This was perfect timing, but not on purpose. My wife and I were out enjoying the warm, July 15th evening when we saw this almost full moon. So I decided to get out the camera, tripod and wireless remote to try and get some good pictures. After about 15 shots of trying to get the right timing of exposure I captured this. I thought I saw a jet in the viewfinder when I snapped it and told my wife I might have captured it in the picture.
I immediately browsed the picture and sure enough I did. I cropped the photo in Photo shop to enlarge it and added a touch of unsharp mask. There was no editing of the jet whatsoever. I plan on sending the photo to local papers and magazines in hope of getting it published. Hope you like it.
