This castle, located in the tiny community of Vaumarcus, was constructed in the 10th Century upon the foundations of Roman structures. It now houses a restaurant and hotel. It sits on a rock shelf overlooking Lake Neuchatel, and has a beautiful view of the lake and shorelands from the peaceful rear courtyard.
